When To Begin The College Search
| When should you begin your college search?
The answer is, "Immediately!" Your high school years are a busy and exciting period in your life, and you should enjoy the experience to the fullest. But it is never too early to start making plans for college. In fact, there are very clear advantages to beginning the college search early, before you become occupied with standardized testing and well in advance of the all-consuming college application process. The college search should begin during your junior year, or even during your sophomore year, because, as any frantic high school senior can tell you, it is a mistake to postpone your search until the last minute. See the introductory chapters of the book for details.
